At Equiti, trading accounts are subjected to be archived when they meet specific criteria related to user activity. Here's a breakdown of when and how accounts are archived:
For Live Accounts: Accounts with real funds that have not been actively used for a significant period will be considered archived. Specifically, accounts that are eligible for archiving if they meet the following conditions:
- Inactivity: If there have been no logins, deposits, withdrawals, or trading activities for a continuous period of 6 months (180 Days ).
- Balance: If the account has a balance of below 100 USD , it will be moved to the wallet account
- No Balance: If the account has no remaining balance, it will be automatically archived.
This process ensures that accounts with funds are safely moved to the wallet, while empty accounts are archived automatically.
For Demo Accounts: Demo accounts, which are used for practice and learning purposes, follow a slightly different timeframe for archiving:
- Inactivity: Demo accounts will be considered for archiving if there has been no login activity for a continuous period of 90 days.
Exceptions:
All accounts with open trades will be excluded from the account archiving process regardless their last date of activity and balance.
We aim to maintain a clean and efficient user database, ensuring that users can manage their accounts effectively. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding account archiving, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
